In most cases, the label is the information carrier for barcodes and RFID chips – and yet it is usually neglected. At OPAL, the label has been the centre of attention from the very beginning.
ABOUT OPAL
Why OPAL runs its own label print shop
Only those who really know labels – and how to produce them – can take responsibility for the proper functioning of a suitable barcode and RFID solution. For this reason, we integrated and considerably expanded a small but fine Swiss label print shop when we founded the company back in 1996.
Today, OPAL is the only AutoID integrator able to competently provide everything from a single source: from the label through the hardware and the integration into your systems landscape to a 24/7 service contract. And yes – we really do have our own print shop. Unlike some competitors’, it also stays open during the summer weeks.
THE PORTFOLIO
Labels for almost everything
The label is still one of the most interesting parts of our portfolio, and the selection of possible label solutions is incredibly broad. In addition to the readily available standard kits packed in practical shipping units, we offer solutions such as:
- →Certified archive labels that survive a 400-year ageing process
- →Cryo labels for storing special lab samples in liquid nitrogen
- →Tyre stickers used for storing used car tyres
- →Labels for certified identification plates
- →Inventory labels that resist most solvents and cannot be removed non-destructively
- →Seal labels
- →Pallet labels and shelf labels
FOR YOUR BUSINESS
Not satisfied with your current labels?
Please speak to us in particular if your labels do not last, cannot be fully removed, print only in grey or simply look bad. Solving problems like these is usually just a minor detail – but unsuitable or badly working product labelling damages your image.
Whatever your labelling questions might be, just ask us – we will find a good solution for you in almost every case.
From archive to cryo labels: tell us what you need to mark – and we will find the label that works.
