The ZQ600 Plus series comprises three mobile printers with 2, 3 and 4 inch print widths. All share display, interfaces, printer languages, protection rating and temperature range. They differ in print width, size, weight and battery: the ZQ630 Plus has a 6,800 mAh battery and, according to the manufacturer, withstands repeated drops from 1.83 m to concrete, the ZQ610 Plus and ZQ620 Plus from 1.52 m.
The printers connect to mobile computers via Bluetooth 4.2 and optionally to the network via WLAN 802.11ac. They understand CPCL, ZPL and EPL. According to the manufacturer, the Plus models require new firmware and drivers compared with the original ZQ600 series; we check whether your templates and applications keep working. The ZQ630 Plus belongs where printing happens while staff are on the move: at the shelf, in the warehouse aisle, in the vehicle. It is protected against dust and splashing water and withstands drops. Which model suits which labels?
The ZQ610 Plus prints up to 48 mm wide and suits small shelf and price labels. The ZQ620 Plus prints up to 72 mm, the ZQ630 Plus up to 104 mm, for example for shipping and warehouse labels. We recommend the model based on your label formats.
How long does the battery last?
The datasheet does not state a runtime in hours; it depends on print volume, wireless connection and labels. The ZQ610 Plus and ZQ620 Plus have 3,250 mAh, the ZQ630 Plus 6,800 mAh. The batteries are removable, and chargers for up to 6 batteries are available for shift operation.
Can I retrofit RFID?
No. According to the manufacturer, RFID on the ZQ630 Plus is a factory option and cannot be added later. The ZQ610 Plus and ZQ620 Plus are available without RFID.
Will my templates and applications keep working?
The printers understand CPCL, ZPL and EPL. According to the manufacturer, the Plus models require new firmware and drivers compared with the original ZQ600 series. We test your templates and mobile applications before the rollout.
