Very small labels, highest precision: the SATO HR2 was developed specifically for pinpoint-accurate printing of tiny labels – from IMEI numbers to electronics, pharma and jewellery labelling.
THE DEVICE
Built for the smallest labels
The SATO HR2 high-quality label printer was specially developed for printing very small labels with the highest precision. It handles label sizes between 7×3 mm and 58×200 mm at 305 or 609 dpi with pinpoint accuracy – ideal for IMEI numbers on mobile phone packaging, labels for electronic components such as CPU boards, and labels for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and jewellery industries.

THE DETAILS
Compact, robust and connectable
The SATO HR224 (305 dpi) and HR242 (609 dpi) measure just 197×365×285 mm and fit even in cramped conditions. The printer offers an optional internal self-strip unit and an internal rewinder for the label carrier material. The standard model comes with RS232C, USB and LAN interfaces; the printer language is SBPL, SATO’s own programming language. For communication with the printer we recommend BarTender by Seagull or NiceLabel.
To exploit the full performance of the HR2, we advise using high-quality plastic labels and a resin ribbon for thermal transfer printing. This produces sharp, smear-proof and long-lasting prints.
